Listen now: Halsey and Khalid duet on “Eastside,” co-penned by Ed Sheeran

ABC/Paula LoboHalsey and Khalid have teamed up for a new duet co-written by Ed Sheeran.

The track, called “Eastside,” marks the debut single from producer Benny Blanco, who’s produced songs for the likes of Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Cardi B, Kesha and more.

Blanco teased a snippet of the song on Instagram earlier this week and tagged all three artists. The track has Halsey and Khalid reminiscing about a past relationship and wanting to run away with that person and start over.

“We can do anything if we put our minds to it/Take your whole life then you put a line through it/My love is yours if you’re willing to take it/Give me your heart ’cause I ain’t gonna break it,” the two sing.

Blanco announced on Monday that he’d be releasing new songs under his own name but sung by other artists.

“i have decided to release some songs as benny blanco,” he wrote. “Don’t worry i wont be singing on them… i got all my friends to sing em… hope u like them… and if u dont i dont care cuz i do.”
