Lauren DunnLauren Jauregui has released the NSFW video for her new solo single, “More Than That.”
In the clip, Lauren imagines what would happen if the Greek goddess Aphrodite rolled up to the strip club with her girls. In the all-female club, called Olympus, strippers swing around their poles wearing skimpy lingerie as Lauren — playing Aphrodite, of course — watches, along with her fellow goddesses.
Much like the cover art for the single, the video ends with Lauren posing in a painting like Botticelli‘s Venus. Venus is the Roman name for Aphrodite.
Before the song’s release last week, Lauren explained the inspiration behind it.
“Aphrodite [the Greek goddess of love and beauty] has been my goddess of inspiration for this round,” she said in an Instagram Live. “She’s very sensual. She’s about love. She’s about connection with pleasure and self…and that was really important to me.”
