Most Adele fans know that she worships Beyonce, and even apologized to her publicly when the British superstar’s album 25 beat out Beyonce’s landmark record Lemonade for the Album of the Year Grammy in 2017.  On Thursday, the singer took to Instagram to post a text message exchange — it seems to be between her and a a few friends — about the Netflix doc.

The streaming platform initially teased the project — which documents Beyonce’s historic 2018 performance at Coachella — by simply posting the words, “Homecoming. April 17.”  The word “homecoming” was set against a yellow background, with the Greek letters theta and omega in place of the “o” and “e.” The text message discussion was about that post.

“Wait, why do you think this is Beyonce??” the text message begins.

“It’s the same colors from the first show and the theme was black colleges,” comes the response. “AND COZ I JUST FEEL IT. She’s like yeah — I’ll drop it exactly a year later.”

“TBH I have the whole show on my desktop and watch it whenever I’m feeling s**t/at least once a month,” the response continues. “BUT I NEED THAT HD S**T.”

Adele captioned the screenshot, “I love my friends so much,” followed by the laugh-til-you-cry emoji.

Netflix UK then jumped into the comments and wrote, “Wanna come and watch it round our house?”

Meanwhile, Adele is currently working on the follow-up to 25.
