Source: Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin slow down wedding plans because it was "getting quite intense"

A source tells People the two are slowing things down in order to enjoy their engagement a little bit longer.

“The wedding planning has slowed down a bit,” the source says. “They still don’t want a long engagement, but they are also not rushing the wedding.”

The insider adds, “It was getting quite intense and they realized they want to enjoy being engaged for a while.”

But the source is quick to add that the slow-down isn’t because they’re getting cold feet. They’re just young – Justin is 24 and Hailey is 21 — and don’t see why they need to rush.

“They aren’t slowing things down…because they are unsure if they want to marry; they definitely want to get married,” the source says.

Justin proposed to Hailey in the Bahamas on July 7, after rekindling their romance this summer. They were previously rumored to be together off-and-on as early as 2014.
