Brian ZiffA bunch of big stars have released new music today. Here’s a roundup:

Shawn Mendes has dropped yet another track from his forthcoming self-titled third album, due May 25.  “Where Were You in the Morning” is an R&B-flavored track that finds Shawn mourning the fact that he’s woken up to find his one-night stand has split. He sings, “Where were you in the morning baby?/You didn’t leave your number for me/Left me without a warning baby/How do you just walk away?”

Camila Cabello has teamed up with Pharrell — who co-wrote “Havana” — for “Sangria Wine.” It’s a bilingual track that Camila performed live on her recently wrapped Never Be the Same Tour.

Demi Lovato is providing vocals for British group Clean Bandit on their new single, “Solo.”  Talking about the song, Clean Bandit’s Grace Chatto says in a statement, “Breaking apart from someone you love very much can be unbearably painful, but finding yourself again can be a beautiful thing if you do your solitude right. Self-care is like an art in itself and we tried to look at this in a fun way.”

She adds, “The first time we met Demi was over FaceTime, believe it or not! She was recording in Alabama and we were recording in London and we recorded the song like this — over the ocean! When we finally met in person to shoot the music video, it was beautiful. She was so lovely and it was a joy to film her.”

Alessia Cara, who’s currently working on her sophomore album, has teamed up with hip-hop singer, songwriter and producer KYLE for a duet called “Babies.”  It’s about two people who aren’t sure they’re mature enough for a real romance: Alessia sings, “We’re far from school, don’t know the rules, we don’t have to/we have no clue/And maybe, we’re still babies/We don’t have to know/We still got time to grow.”

Finally, “Best Day of My Life” group American Authors have returned with a new single called “Deep Water.” In a statement, lead singer Zac Barnett says, “‘Deep Water’ is about treading through the hardest times with the people that are closest to you. We’ve all experienced loss and struggle, and there’s no way we would have made it through without our loved ones’ help.”
