Kelly Clarkson to perform “American Woman” at CMT Music Awards

Vincent PetersKelly Clarkson has signed on to perform at next month’s CMT Music Awards, country music’s fan-voted awards show.

The singer will deliver a performance of her remake of the rock classic “American Woman,” which is the theme of the new Paramount Network series of the same name, developed by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.

Performers will also include Kelly’s The Voice co-star Blake Shelton and American Idol judge Luke Bryan, as well as Kelsea Ballerini, Sam Hunt and Chris Stapleton.

Little Big Town will host the show, as it airs live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 6 at 8 p.m. ET. Voting is underway now at CMT.com.
