ABC/Randy HolmesKaty Perry is set to be honored at the 10th anniversary of the DVF Awards, which recognizes women who use their resources to transform the lives of other women.

Katy will be receiving the Inspiration Award for “using her voice to advocate on behalf of many philanthropic causes,” including her work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and as a champion for LGBTQ community.

Along with Katy, the awards will be honoring four other women – including Professor Anita Hill, who will be receiving the Lifetime Leadership Award.

“For our 10th anniversary of the DVF Awards, I am honored to recognize these extraordinary women who have shown courage, strength and leadership, and have shown us how to make this world a better world,” says fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, founder of the DVF awards.

The DVF Awards will take place Thursday, April 11 at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.
