ABC/Randy HolmesJohn Mayer and his buddy Dave Chappelle are taking their act to Sin City.

For the past two years, John and Dave have been performing their music/comedy hybrid Controlled Danger at select venues in the U.S.  The show is now heading to Las Vegas for a December 30 show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m. PT via AXS.com; prices range from $45 to just under $270 apiece.

The first half of Controlled Danger is a solo music set by John and a solo comedy set by Dave.  The second half of the show features both stars together onstage — telling stores, performing songs, dancing and more.

As with previous Controlled Danger shows, don’t even think of whipping out your phone and taking photos or video.  No cellphones, cameras or smart watches are allowed during the show — everyone’s device will be locked in a special pouch for the duration of the show.  If you’re caught using your phone, you’ll be thrown out.
