EntertainmentJohn Mayer has launched the Heart and Armor Foundation, which will focus on the needs of returning combat veterans, and plans to do a fundraiser for the charity live on Facebook on Saturday. But on Friday, he appeared in a video segment with Ellen DeGeneres to raise even more money for the cause — by answering embarrassing questions.
John joined Ellen for a round of “Burning Questions,” with the promise that every time he answered one honestly, he’d earn $500 for the cause. The first question was, “What are the three things you must do every day?”
“Oh, man!” John responded. “I have to make coffee before the breakfast is done in the microwave, that’s game number one…Work out, and I have to, uh, look at naked people.”
After the audience laughed for a good 30 seconds, Ellen asked, “Where are they?” As the audience cracked up again, she added, “Every day?”
“Every day,” John confirmed, to more laughter.
John also revealed that he’s never dated a celebrity that we don’t know about, he goes to bed every night at 2 a.m., his favorite curse word is “mothereffer,” and his favorite body part is the part where the butt meets the legs.
Ellen ended the segment by announcing that her partners at Shutterfly would donate $10,000 to John’s new foundation.
