ABC/Kelsey McNealIt’s not “Him & I” anymore: Halsey and G-Eazy have split up after a year of dating.

In a note posted on her Instagram story and captured by People magazine, Halsey wrote, “I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel the need to inform my fans. G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart.”

She continued, “I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.”

Halsey, 23, and G-Eazy, 29, started dating last summer and have collaborated multiple times onstage and on TV. As recently as last month, Halsey told ABC Radio that she was physically run down because she’d been spending her days off from performing flying to meet G-Eazy where he was performing.

But earlier this week, fans noticed that Halsey had removed photos of the couple from her Instagram page.  She also posted a picture on Tuesday afternoon of herself posing with a dog, with the caption, “Kiss my dog on the forehead and then kiss ur a** goodbye.”  It was a play on the lyrics of Drake‘s song “8 Out of 10,” in which he raps, “Kiss my son on the forehead then kiss your a** goodbye.”

While she’s been doing festivals for the past month, the North American headlining leg of Halsey’s Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Final Installment tour kicks off Sunday in Montreal.
