ABC/Paula LoboDemi Lovato is stronger than ever….literally.

The singer revealed on her Instagram Story Wednesday that she has received a new degree in the Brazilian martial art of jiu-jitsu.

“2nd degree blue belt!!!!” she wrote in the post captured by People, along with a photo of her belt’s brand new stripe.

“This means the world to me and I couldn’t be happier,” she wrote on another photo. “Brazilian jiu jitsu is a passion of mine and I can’t wait to learn more and more.”

She went on to thank her instructor, Chris Light, who presented her with a note about the accomplishment that read, “Earned. Not given.”

“Thank you @1chrislight for teaching me so much,” Demi wrote. “I can’t believe how far I’ve come since working together. You’re a legend!!”

Demi previously earned her blue belt in August 2017.  It’s the second level out of seven in the jiu-jitsu system.

Since completing rehab following her relapse in July, Demi has returned to Unbreakable Performance gym in Hollywood to practice the mixed martial art.
