Dennis LeupoldHer hit debut album hasn’t even been out for a year, but Camila Cabello is already planning her next one…and it may include love songs inspired by her current relationship.
In an interview with Beats 1, the “Never Be the Same” singer said, “I have an idea for where I want my second album to go. I have, like, a possible title for it.”
Camila then explained that before she even goes into the studio, she collects “titles, references [to] songs, sounds that I really like,” as well as images and colors from Pinterest that represent where her head is at.
When Beats 1 host Zane Lowe asked her to describe some of those current inspirations, Camila said, “I love love songs right now. I love feeling. I love emotion. I love, like, pinks and reds and deep colors…passion and emotion.”
She added, “I love anything that just makes me feel.”
When Lowe noted that it sounds as if Camila is currently in a relationship, she indicated that she is. She then explained that previously, when she wanted to write a happy love song, she had to use her imagination. Now, she said, she doesn’t have to.
“It’s so much better,” she enthused. “Now, I have so many things that I could say, and so many different pictures that I could draw, like, so many different things that are actually happening in my life…now, it feels like I’m really documenting something that’s happening right now.”
