ABC/Paula LoboThis was practically perfect in every way.

The Backstreet Boys joined Mary Poppins Returns star Emily Blunt for a surprise a cappella performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday.

The actress, who sings in Mary Poppins, told Ellen that she’s still nervous to sing in front of an audience, but Ellen had a microphone set up for her and pushed her to face her fear. As Emily tentatively approached the mic, she told Ellen, “I just feel a bit exposed.”

To which Ellen replied,  “Well, what if we had the Backstreet Boys behind you?”

The Backstreet Boys then emerged from backstage much to the delight of the crowd – and Emily. Then they all launched into a harmonious version of “I Want It That Way,” with Emily going solo on the last line.

BSB later joined Ellen for a game of “Never Have I Ever,” where all of the guys – except Kevin Richardson – revealed they had hooked up with a groupie. All of them also revealed they’ve had to sign a fan’s boob at some point, and every one of them — except Nick Carter — admitted to forgetting their own lyrics on stage.

BSB’s 10th studio album, DNA, comes out January 25 and their tour kicks off May 11 in Lisbon, Portugal.
