Republic RecordsEarlier this week, we found out that Ariana Grande‘s new release thank u, next was #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and that her songs are occupying the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100.  Now, the singer has topped a third Billboard chart.

Ari’s the first artist in six months to simultaneously rule the Billboard 200, Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Artist 100 chart.  The Artist 100 chart combines music sales, radio airplay, social media interaction and streaming to provide a ranking of an artist’s popularity.  The last artist to do it was Drake, back in July and August of last year.

Meanwhile, thank u, next is on track to remain at #1 for a second week, industry insiders tell Billboard.  If it does, it’ll be the first album by a solo female artist to spend more than a week at the top in more than a year.  The last woman to do it was Taylor Swift, whose Reputation spent three weeks at #1 in 2017.

In addition, if it remains on top, thank u, next will be Ariana’s first album to spend more than a single week at #1.  We’ll find out on Monday whether or not she pulls it off.
