Dave Meyers/Republic Records2 Chainz hopped on the remix of Ariana Grande‘s #1 hit “7 Rings” last month, and now she’s returning the favor. Ariana appears on a track on the rapper’s new album Rap or Go to the League, which is out today.
The song, “Rule the World,” is a romantic track that finds the rapper crooning, “Fell in love with a real one, this a dedication/Had ’em patiently waitin’ for a revelation/Even when I ain’t around, ain’t no separation/Your skin’s smooth, your eyes brown and you’re far from basic.”
At the end of the track, 2 Chainz muses, “One thing about love, they say it’s blind/No matter where you’re from/You gon’ bump into it one day.”
On the catchy hook, Ariana sings, “Prayin’ you make it home, I got used to it/Prayin’ you make it home like I’m used to it/I realized we could rule the world.”
Ari’s just one of many guests on the album: 2 Chainz also tapped Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne and Chance the Rapper, among other big names, to join him on the project.
